Darold moved to Manitou Springs in 1945 and graduated from Manitou Springs High School in 1958. He married Sue in 1971 and they have 2 children, Brian (Cassidy) and Tracy. Their first grandchild, Allyson, was born last December. He has been a member of PPAR for 27 years and has been a licensed appraiser since 1991.
Darold is a long-time member of the Manitou Masonic Lodge and the Manitou Kiwanis Club; he volunteers at the Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Community Congregational Church, where he has served on numerous committees.
